1.         Vacuum and dust thoroughly

2.         Clear curios and clutter from tables and counter tops

3.         Make rooms look larger by removing excess furniture

4.         Remove personal photos and knick-knacks (too many pillows make rooms feel crowded and small)

5.         Organize your closets

6.         Polish all metal fixtures: faucets, cabinet handles, doorknobs
